- Foxes. I got this cute little stuffed fox in Carlsbad Caverns last fall. Now I feel like I see foxes everywhere. Are foxes the new owls? I treated myself to a mini desk calendar featuring foxes (which is now on major sale!) I'd like to make an illustration or Gocco print featuring Foxy. And I want to make the quilted fox in the latest issue of Fat Quarterly.
- My new nook! I've been wanting a nook for so long, and I must say I love it. I definitely want to sew a case/cover for it.
- YA dystopian fiction. Goes along with my nook, and definitely more on the distraction side of things.
- Innocent Crush -- still loving this fabric line.
- orange & purple together
- Swaps! I'm doing two swaps right now, another Scrappy Mug Rug Swap and the {Urban} HOME Goods Swap. I'm really hoping to make my partners happy!
- Pinterest -- quite a fun site for keeping a visual record of things I used to bookmark. I'm enjoying it for getting inspired and for just daydreaming. You can check out my boards here. I've got one just for crafting tutorials!

Inspiration and Distraction
The two go hand in hand sometimes, don't they? Here's a list of my current crushes, some of which are giving me crafty inspiration, and others of which are keeping me from creating:

Aw, your little fox is super cute. Full of personality! I'm kind of in love with hedgehogs. Would have one as a pet but they're actually illegal in my state- afraid we'll set them free and start a breeding population, and goodness knows we don't need any insectivores running wild around here. Pfft.
Congrats on your nook! I'm jealous, brilliant little gadget. Never beat a paperback for curling up with in the bathtub, though, even with a waterproof case.
Well, I went and signed up for Thing-a-Day. Your fault entirely. ;) Even made a goal that not *everything* I craft will be horribly geeky.
Yay, I'm glad I've got your company for thing-a-day! Can't wait to see what you create...
